Year 1 Had A Visit From The Doctor

Whole School Year 1

27 November 2015

Dr Trisha (Amar's mum) kindly came into Year 1 to talk about our bodies and a healthy diet.

She went through all the different, important body organs and the children were helpful in pointing these out on the model.

Then, using a small torch and a small stick, the children checked each other's throats to make sure they were healthy.

The class was very excited to hear one another's hearts beating using a stethoscope.

Finally, Dr Trisha talked about the bones in our body and the children identified them on the skeleton.

It was a very interactive and fun morning and helped us understand more about our bodies.
